3 Personality Traits I’m Proud to Have

When I do introspection on myself, it isn’t always rooted in finding something wrong. Sometimes, I like to find what’s right about me. Once I find the aspects of myself that feel good, I like to build on. It’s easier to build on a solid foundation that on one with cracks!

Personality traits that I’m proud of and that I think are helping me during this difficult time in, that is 2020…

I have this knack for letting things go. It’s not that I’m not bothered or upset, it’s just that I can only let those emotions occupy my mind for so long before it gradually resides. Honestly, it’s great to have this personality trait when you’re married! I never forget, but the sting of whatever was bothering me isn’t that profound after a little while. Also, I don’t hold grudges, which is super helpful in moving forward in life. I’d rather start focusing on something else.

My enthusiasm for others’ accomplishments can be just as high as if it were my own. I should have been a cheerleader! I love supporting my family and friends on whatever is bringing positivity and joy in their lives. Going back to school, starting a new job, getting back out into the dating seen??? I’m your girl! I like to see people win at life. It also inspires me.

Since I was a kid, I could escape to a world of my own making. My imagination came in handy when I was looking for a distraction, on a cold rainy day where I couldn’t go outside and play, or if life became too overwhelming. I never stopped using my imagination. As I grew older, I wrote my “world making” down. This too, still goes own! I love that can still play make believe in my mind, which creates exciting stories I can share. I am very proud of how I express my creativity.

Instead of thinking about what needs healing, it was fun to think about what is working just fine. I would suggest you do the same. Go ahead, take the leap into getting happy by thinking about what you’re most proud of about yourself.
